New Orleans (J.J. Cale)

I still think the Travel-log album never received the praise it fully deserves. Also it has the last songs with a real vintage JJ solo tone (I mean I assume he played his Harmony on record for the last time here...). Lovely noodlings on this one too, will come back to them.

Have you [E]ever been down to [B]New Orleans
[E]Lord, lord, them [A]crazy queens
[E]Crying the blues [B]is what they do down [E]there

[D]Money dripping from a willow tree
[E]He never wanna leave
[D]Lazy bones, I ain't got a dime [E]
Just [B]biding my time
[A]If I [B]find a [E]way to [A]choose
[E]New Orleans, where they're crying the blues

E blues scale solo kicks off at 1m10s like this:
e:--------------
b:----12-12--------------12---
g:-12-------14-12--14-12------
d:--------------
a:--------------
e:--------------

e:--------------
b:----10-11-10-----10-------------
g:-12-----------12----12----------
d:------------------------14-12---
a:------------------------------14
e:--------------
